Heartland Family Service (HFS) invites you to join them in the Great Outdoors to help kids and families in southwest Iowa by attending the “Strike a Chord” Gala!
This music-inspired event features live entertainment from the Harman Duo, hors d’oeuvres, games, silent and live auctions, and dinner to support their programs and services in southwest Iowa. This year’s Honorary Chairs are Jay Ferris and Vicki Quaites-Ferris, and the Presenting Sponsors are Veridian Credit Union and Heartland Properties, Inc.
Highlights of the evening: HFS will recognize the recipients of the Salute to Leadership and Salute to Achievement Awards. The 2019 Salute to Leadership Award honoree is Dawn Landon, who formerly served as the Assistant Pottawattamie County Attorney for many years and now works as a private attorney in Glenwood. The 2019 Salute to Achievement Award honoree is Lynn Poe, a current HFS client who has been engaged in a number of agency services, most recently the Heartland Homes/Transitions program.
All proceeds will benefit Heartland Family Service programs in southwest Iowa.
