Manawa Fireworks

The 2025 Lake Manawa Fireworks show is scheduled for this coming Sunday, June 29th. The show will start as soon as it is dark enough which will probably be around 10:00PM, according to Trent Cozad, spokesperson for the organization responsible for the show. The 2025 show will be smaller than last year's 75th anniversary show. “We spent more last year due to the milestone,” Cozad said. Although people prefer Friday or Saturday shows, DNR staffing limits led to a Sunday show,” he added. The production requires extensive coordination with multiple local agencies. The CB Police and Fire are on hand along with their emergency high-tech van to help coordinate all of the separate agencies. Along with the DNR, CB Police and Fire, the Iowa DOT and Pottawattamie County Sheriff provide assistance.
