Description
This 60-minute gatekeeper training will help to prepare you to say YES to saving the life of a friend, colleague, sibling or neighbor. Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and learn three simple steps to help save a life from suicide with question, persuade, and refer someone to help.
This is a program of Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and will be facilitated by ISU.
