Join us and learn how to keep employees engaged and business strategy fueled with the right talent! Employees stay in jobs an average of three-ish years. By the time an organization gets their 3-5 year strategic plan published, the players executing on that plan may have changed completely and those new players want to head in a different direction.  If only organizations could offer employees the room to grow and employees could offer the organization the stability to execute on long-term strategy! 

Career pathing and succession planning provide the means to meeting the needs of the employees and in turn meeting the needs of the organization.  This workshop will expose you to best practices in career pathing and succession planning and will help you dive into developing these key processes for your organization.

In these quick 90-minutes together, you can expect to leave being able to:

  • explain how career development and succession planning are different, yet rely upon one another.

  • begin developing a plan to provide managers with the resources they need to help their employees navigate developing their careers.

  • identify key roles in your organization that will need succession plans.

  • utilize common talent identification and development tools to support career pathing and succession planning.

  • start developing a process and cadence for company-wide succession planning.
