Laborer/pipe layer

Local underground utility contractor seeking experienced, hardworking general laborers/pipe layers for underground water and sewer installation.

Pipe Layer is to lay and join concrete, plastic, or cast-iron pipe for drains, sewers, and water mains. This includes rigging pipe for hoisting, setting pipe to grade. The Pipe Layer position requires manual labor as well as assisting other trades to the extent necessary with hands-on work.

All duties associated with laying pipe, working with other members of the construction crew to successfully complete projects within specifications and in a quality manner to meet or exceed customer expectations. Position will report to Pipe Crew Foreman

Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and transportation to shop in the Council Bluffs. Applicants must work well with others and be familiar with OSHA safety protocols. General knowledge of construction tools, equipment and concrete work a plus. CDL not required but would be a plus.

Workdays are Monday thru Friday and Saturday during peak season. Competitive wages based on experience. Benefits available after probationary period
